Q1: Can you introduce yourself to the community? What is your background and how did you join Leaf DeFi ?
Sure! My name is Manuel and I’m the marketing manager at LEAF as Anton said before. I joined the project at the beginning, 2 years ago, and before that I was operating in the social media marketing for a multinational company! 🌱
Q2: Can you briefly describe what is Leaf DeFi ?
Sure! At LEAF our goal is to simplify DeFi for everyone! Our project can be seen as an ecosystem of products & services for smart asset custody and management, with a strong focus on fee minimization and overall sustainability 🌱
Q3: What companies/projects do you see as competitors, and how does Leaf DeFi stand out compared to them?
Nice question! As you know the DeFi space is really crowded and we actually don’t like to talk about competitors, since I believe there are great teams and initiatives out there. However, for sure I’d say that what differentiates us is the focus on eliminating any kind of fee and friction that stands between our customers and their assets’ growth, always keeping security standards as high as possible 🌱
Q4. What is the use-case of the Leaf DeFi Token?
The LEAF token (ticker: LAF) is a utility ERC20 token directly used to interact with the protocol and use all its products. Here we can see some use cases:
– tx fees
– staking and Nodes
– use LEAF products (example: DMCP)
– Participate in the governance (DAO)
Q5. What are the major milestones Leaf DeFi achieved so far & what are in future pipeline?
Thanks for asking 🌱 so recently we closed our public sale and that was a great milestone for us, not for the funds but for the evident support that we received from
The entire community! Other than that, I’d say the most important milestones were:
– the launch of the project in 2018
– the first funds raised through VC deals
– the launch of our first internal beta that we hope to share with you all soon 🌱

Q1. Partnerships seem to be very important. How’s the status of Leaf DeFi partnerships? Can you share some of the partnerships you have formed with existing blockchain foundations recently?
Sure! We strongly believe in cooperation, there’s no chance of succeeding for a project without it. As I anticipated, in the past year we closed some private deals that were proud of but cannot be shared, while after our sale the discussions with major exchanges and platforms have been intensified. We don’t like to create useless hype so I’ll be happy to announce it all as soon as something is officially confirmed 🌱🌱
Q2. Due to the current DeFi hype, many new projects that use the “DeFi” name just to get instant profit from its users,
How do you convince us to invest our money in Leaf DeFi?
What can you guarantee about the security and funds for your users?
This is a really good question. I think trust has to be earned with facts and by keeping your promises. That’s what we’ve always done at LEAF and we’ll continue to do! We’re completely against useless hype and all of our protocol contracts will be audited and certified before publication!
Q3. community support is an important factor in the development of a project. how do you convince the community to always faithfully support Leaf Defi products, what programs do you offer to the community?
So our community is one of the things we’re more proud of! We try to keep the relationship open and at the same time mature, and I think our telegram group is the proof of that! Really smart people and thoughts
We try to maintain the connection through events like that, competitions / giveaways and newsletters 🌱
Q4. For the fourth quarter of 2020 you have planned the listing in major exchanges of Leaf token. Have you already been in contact with some exchanges?
Yes, we have been in contact with some CEX since before the sale, while at the same time we’re bringing forward the listing procedures with DEXs
At the moment you can buy leaf on Uniswap, but as soon as things are confirmed we’ll give you all the official announcements 👌
Q5. LEAF has a 500,000 LAF tokens which is quite high, in an effort to stimulate its value Will you conduct token burning in the future to reduce the supply of LAF and increase its investment attractiveness?
It’s a possibility, however for the moment nothing confirmed. We’re now focusing on listing and releasing the first beta of the product, financial value will come as a consequence 🌱

Q1. Yeild farming is a new trending so do you have any plan to yeild farming system development?
Yield farming and lending protocols in general are something we strongly believe in! Our revolutionary DMCP protocol will allocate your funds on the most profitable one in order to maximise your gains!

So now I want to ask what do you want to receive from the community?
That’s a really good one! Our products are build for the community, so the main thing we want to receive is feedback and continuous support in helping us directing our efforts! In this way we’ll build a beautiful ecosystem 🌱
Q3. 🌱What do you consider to be the main challenges facing DeFi projects and how does Leaf DeFi provide solutions to those challenges?
The main challenge is adoption and traction for sure! We chose to not fool anyone, but simply state some clear promises and keep them 🌱 I think this is one of the most simple but also profitable strategies!!
Q4. Can you list 1-3 killer features of LEAF DEFI that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about?
Sure! I think the main ones are:
- fee minimization batching algorithm
- DMCP protocol
- LEAF Chain (proj for 2021)

Q5. how do you combat the issues of security & hacks, loss of data?
Thanks for asking, this is really important for us! Infact, we have an entire legal & IT team that deals with security, on a technical but alto regulation perspective!
