Q1. Could you give an introduction of yourself And how you can play an important role in Duelist King?
Mary: Yeah first of all, thank you once again for having us today.
My name is Mary I have been working in blockchain space since 2015, been through some well-known blockchain firms you may know like Cardano-labo, Binance, Okex. And I am Growth Manager at DuelistKing for now.
Joining with me today having Kart – our social media lead, he been thru some esport gaming company before.

My name is Kartikeya and I am the social media lead at Duelist King, I have been in the cryptogaming industry for a while and hope to take our NFT Card Game to new heights.
Q2. What is Duelist King? And how is the story behind the Duelist King Creation?
Kert: With an awesome team of 20 people, Duelist King aims to transform the way people play, participate and earn in card games through top-notch game play, asset designs and advocacy for the sustainable future of Win2Earn.
Powered by in-house Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), Oracle and Random Number Generator, Duelist King offers dual values for investors from token utilities and card sales (projected at roughly 40 million USD).
The Duelist King project kick-started in February earlier this year, the founder/CEO Chiro drafted a technical lite-paper around fair distribution model. The founding team is a strong believer in the power of blockchain in bringing fairness and equality to game assets distribution, defragmenting the centralized power of game distributors and empowering the community to grow and scale any game.
Community power, democracy and transparency have become the underpinnings of Duelist King. The project aims to transform the way people play, participate and earn by promoting a Win-to-earn system, encouraging users to enjoy and engage in the game and subsequently earn from the game.
Q3. What is so exciting about Duelist King NFT, which might make Duelist King different from all other NFT projects out there?

We want to draw attention from our people to the game first.
Our slogan is Free2Play – Play2Win – Win2Earn. We believe people need to Enjoy Engage and then Earn in the game.
We enable the community to drive the game causing a learning amongst gamers to have more ownership in their experience with Duelist King. Community has been the pillar of our project and we believe to be our advantage.
Q4. What utilities does the token have, and what benefits will tokens holders get?
Kert: 10,000,000 DKT (Duelist King Token) will be issued and token holders will have rights for governance voting. Token holders of DKT are able to participate in DAO governance by locking their tokens to gain voting power. The Duelist King DAO voting mechanism is based on weighted voting.
Furthermore, the tokens come with a number of utilities including life-time discount to mystery boxes, staking to mint rare NFTs, and cash-out rewards in the game.
Also, the game comes with exciting milestones from now until next year. Firstly, Player versus Environment (PvE) launches in November 2021. Then, the Player vs Player (PvP) and multiplay feature launch in Q2 2021. So, I believe the community has every reason to be bullish about us!

Host: With the Lock for governance feature, do token holders also get an APY rate on the tokens they lock?
Kert: we do have plans to enhance token holders, and an interesting APY for our holder is also in place. Just that we couldn’t disclose it for now. Keep following us, we’ll announce soon once the IDO completed 🙂

Kert: The masterminds of DK are seasoned blockchain advocates and warriors who are passionate about blockchain and its ultimate goal in breaking silos and boundaries through community empowerment. Our founder and CEO is Chiro Tran who has been in blockchain space since 2015. Whereas Nicole Nguyen, Co-founder and CMO, has been in the blockchain space since 2016 and her most recent job was Head of International Marketing at Tokocrypto – the largest exchange of Indonesia. We are team full of cyrpto enthusiasts, We are in it for the long run.
Duelist King aims to champion tokenization and democratization of card games. We also wish to open our ecosystem and later invite like-minded gaming projects to leverage our existing platform of DKDAO that underpins Duelist King operations.

2. Is DuelistKing a game compatible with mobile devices like a phone or tablet or only is possible to play by the PC?

Kert: We will be launching with the PC version but will have compatibility for mobile version in the future. We are ourselves mobile gamers, so we definitely would prefer to play it over our phones haha.
Yes that’s what all the community will be waiting for for sure and I hope it will be launched on time, we will wait and share the news later

3. I am a cryptocurrency user from Indonesia. I heard that DuelistKing has partnered with CryptoIZ. What is the goal or mission of the DuelistKinf team partnering with CryptoIZ?

Kert: We have partnered with them for their “The Root Of Satoshi Nakamoto NFT music event”.
They have been great in terms of introducing Duelist King into the indonesian community. We are truly a global game and with partners such as Cryptoiz who are one of the biggest blockchain communities in the region, Duelist King will be available to gamers all over SEA.
Great to hear that, the Indonesian community is currently very active in the world of play to earn and this may be the time for Duelist King to introduce their products to the Indonesian community and SEA.
4. With hack every day, security is now at heart of every user, so could you elaborate on how DuelistKing strengthen your security measures, risk policy etc to safeguard your protocols?

We have a team who are strong in cryptography. Security is an important part and we ensure the privacy of our customers.
As Duelist King owner, we will provide a tool for everyone to verify their transactions and the distribution
result.
Unlike traditional distribution scheme of card games in lootboxes where the distributor has offered anything but transparency and fair supervision of distribution, DK uses a oracle to process external inputs to a decentralized RNG in a manipulation-proof and 100% random process, allowing fair distribution of card; whilst DAO as an open source, transparent and community-powered entity will govern the whole ecosystem in a permissionless, incorruptible and community-driven approach.
5. NFT is considered the next trend of the crypto industry after DeFi. Could you share your opinion about NFT? Where do Duelist King see the future evolution of NFT features and capabilities in the next few years?

Since joining the blockchain space a long time back, I believe NFTs are some of the few trends that will be here to stay.
NFTs are increasingly finding its use cases and utilities in a number of industries like gaming, arts and collectibles. Adding metaverse effect, the sky’s the limit for NFT growth as a whole new emerging business instead of a contender to the traditional space.
There are still lots of things that need to be done on the onboarding, payment, and solution to expedite NFT adoption but I believe it’s a matter of time till that becomes a realit
Host: Yes that’s correct. NFT really dominates at the moment, even though the Cryptocurrency market is down but NFT rare is still up and innovation in every NFT product is still running

Q1. Do you have local communities for the them to let them better understand about your project? How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries where English is not spoken well?
Kert: We plan to integrate local language support. As for us, we ourselves are a global team so we do understand the need for localisation. We will have region specific communities soon to onboard anyone who wants to be a part of our journey and not limit them by their language. Duelist King aims to be a truly global project with networks all over the world🙂
Q2. Regarding marketing, what plans, ideas and next steps does your project have to attract investors and users? Do you intend to leverage the popularity of social media to make your Project even more popular?
We do engage lots of KOLs, investors in different countries and regions so we can tap in different local communities. Also we are acquiring some key partnerships with DePay payment solution provider, Refinable NFT marketplace, Ludena Protocol for social gaming platform engagement and JennyDAO for more rare NFTs.
As you can see we are rounding up our partnership circle with credible names that can bring huge benefits to our users. We do other promotion, airdrops and community schemes too – just that everything will tie back to the community and we want to make you feel like the owners of Duelist King as well
Q3. What is the competitive advantage of your project? Can you tell me 1-3 best features of your project that other projects don’t have to convince me and other investors to invest in your project for a long time?

It is an all inclusive game which has something for everyone, be it an investor, collector, creator or a gamer! We wish to see you on the game very soon!

Our tokens can be bought from our website. We were able to sell 50,000 Boxes in our premier card sale, we will have more sales in the future. As for secondary market, we are listed on Refinable and Opensea, where cards can bought directly. Price will fluctuate as per card rarity
Q5. Is your project only for elite investors, what about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?
Each box is priced at $5 USD, we have a fair in game asset distribution system where each box is randomized. This enables a fair and just system where everyone is on the same level playing field, we put deep emphasis on our community which is why our box is priced low so everyone and anyone can be a part of our project. 🦾♥️
